Blood donation for Bhotekoshi disaster victims, more than 60 pounds collected

Kathmandu. A blood donation program was organized by Madhesh Youth Club for the injured and the patients undergoing treatment due to the disaster in the Bhotekoshi area.

More than 60 pounds of blood was collected in the blood donation program, according to Uttam Karki of the organizing organization. He said that the blood donation program was organized as part of the social responsibility to avoid the shortage of blood needed by the injured and sick during the disaster.

People from different walks of life, including youths, enthusiastically donated blood on the occasion. The program was organized with the technical support of Nepal Red Cross Society.

According to organizer Karki, the programme has been organized with the objective of increasing the participation of youths in humanitarian service during disasters and to make blood available to the patients in an easy and easy manner.
