Kathmandu. 20 helicopters have been kept on standby through the Rescue Coordination Center (RCC) at Tribhuvan International Airport to speed up the rescue and relief work in the flood-affected areas. In order to make the rescue work systematic and effective, priority will be determined on the basis of the hotline center at the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the information received from various sources. Based on this priority, helicopters will be deployed as per the directive of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA). <\/p>\n
