Kathmandu. Minister for Home Affairs Sudhan Gurung has said the activities carried out by the Lalitpur Metropolitan City are commendable and exemplary. <\/p>\n
Inaugurating a smart street light installed by Lalitpur Metropolitan City from Balkumari to Balkhu on Wednesday, Minister Pokharel said that the Ministry of Home Affairs could learn from the works carried out by Lalitpur Metropolitan City with new thinking. <\/p>\n
He said he entered politics with the intention of bringing positive change in the country. He pledged to treat citizens equally without discriminating on the basis of political party or faith. <\/p>\n
According to him, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur have made significant contributions to the preservation of Nepal’s art, culture and tradition. <\/p>\n
According to him, the Lalitpur Metropolitan City has already implemented some systems that the Home Ministry is implementing three years ago. <\/p>\n
“Whatever works Lalitpur Metropolitan City does, their work is new. The system being implemented by the Ministry of Home Affairs had been implemented by the metropolis three years ago. We’ve become obsolete,” he said. <\/p>\n
