Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Tika Sangraula has lashed out at the lawmakers of the opposition party for questioning the legitimacy of the incumbent government. <\/p>\n
Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Sangraula claimed that the RSP came to the government as people voted for the change and new leadership. Stating that the RSP secured a majority with 182 seats in the election, she said there was no point in continuously questioning the legitimacy of the government. <\/p>\n
“This time, the algorithm clearly does not want to see the faces of those who are trying to ruin the country under the veil of darkness, corruption, anomalies and looting,” she said. The algorithm saw the new, the young, saw the potential, and rang the bells of change. \u2019<\/p>\n
Sangraula claimed that the incumbent government has started a remedy for the long-standing anomalies and corruption. Stating that some problems and criticism might come in course of the government’s work, she compared it to the process of healing, stitching and adjusting wounds. <\/p>\n
“The Rastriya Swatantra Party and this government have already started to heal the wounds of 35 years of irregularities and corruption,” she said. During treatment, you have to cut somewhere, sew somewhere, and adjust somewhere. \u2019<\/p>\n
Terming corruption, irregularities, irregularities and hooliganism as ‘cancer’, she said the government’s aim was to free the country from it. <\/p>\n
Criticizing the erstwhile government, Sangraula said it was surprising that the old leadership claimed that the government would run the government again at a time when the families of those who lost their lives in the incidents were still suffering. <\/p>\n
She said, “The parents of the children killed in the insurgency of September 23 and 24 are sitting on the porch. The white cloth has not come off their bodies. With what courage are they saying that we will come here again and rule over the same people?” <\/p>\n
She also took a dig at the comments made by the Prime Minister about the black spectacles he wears in the meeting. She quoted Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping as saying that a cat should be more capable of killing rats than black or white. <\/p>\n
“Even if the Prime Minister wears black glasses, white glasses, if he builds this country, it is not enough, Mr. Speaker?” she asked. <\/p>\n
He said that the intention of the opposition parties should be questioned rather than the prism of the Prime Minister. <\/p>\n
“So, now the question is not on black spectacles, but we will question the black intentions of the honorable members of the opposition party and the people will question,” she said. <\/p>\n
Sangraula also stressed on the need to allow the government to work and develop a political culture of supporting positive works and criticizing negative works.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
