Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, 640 vehicles have been penalized for violating traffic rules. <\/p>\n
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 110 speeding drivers have been booked for speeding in the period till 6:00 am on August 9, 2083. <\/p>\n
Similarly, action was taken against 70 drivers for violating the rules through CCTV, 34 for drunken driving and 34 for violating red light. <\/p>\n
Action has also been taken against 26 vehicles for using horns unnecessarily, 11 for violating lane discipline, eight for improper condition of vehicles and three for violating one-way rules. <\/p>\n
Similarly, 344 vehicles were taken action for traffic rule violations, according to the Traffic Police. <\/p>\n
The police have been regularly monitoring and taking action to maintain road discipline. Drivers have also been urged to follow the traffic rules and travel safely.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
