Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A youth has been arrested on the charge of cheating people on the pretext of getting a job in the Nepal Army. <\/p>\n
The arrested is 35-year-old Harish Chand of Belauri Municipality-8, Calcutta, Kanchanpur, according to Police Inspector Kailash Bista at the District Police Office. <\/p>\n
According to him, Chand has been accused of cheating the government by extorting Rs 2.40 lakh on the pretext of providing him a job in the Nepal Army. <\/p>\n
Chand has been kept in custody and further investigation is underway, police said. <\/p>\n
