Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has formed a ‘Quick Response Team’ to prevent shortage of LP Gas (LPG) in the kitchens of consumers. <\/p>\n
The special team formed under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has already started its work from today. <\/p>\n
The mechanism has been formed with representatives from the ministry, NOC, Department of Industry and gas entrepreneurs to eliminate the compulsion to stand in line due to shortage of cooking gas in the market. If there is a problem in the supply of gas in any part of the country, this team will solve it immediately. <\/p>\n
Consumers can contact the hotline number 01-5971902 during office hours in case of any problem or complaint related to gas supply. The NOC said it would provide gas based on the complaints received. <\/p>\n
Although the NOC has said that the supply of cooking gas is adequate, consumers have complained that they have not been getting it for many days. Long queues are seen in various cities including the Kathmandu Valley to exchange gas cylinders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
