Kathmandu. There is a risk of floods in 28 districts including the Kathmandu Valley today. According to the Flood Forecasting Division, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Kavre districts are at high risk of flash floods. <\/p>\n
Another 24 districts like Taplejung, Jhapa, Dhankuta, Sankhuwasabha, Solukhumbu, Udayapur, Dolakha, Sindhupalchowk, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Makawanpur, Gorkha, Lamjung, Tanahun, Kaski, Parbat, Myagdi, Syangja, Palpa, Gulmi, Chitwan, Nawalparasi east and Nawalparasi west are likely to get floods and flash floods. <\/p>\n
Torrential rain is predicted at some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces in the province today. Meteorologists have urged one and all to adopt precaution until tomorrow morning as daily life, tourism, mountaineering and road and air transport are likely to be affected due to the monsoon becoming active. <\/p>\n
The Flood Forecasting Division has urged the people living nearby the Lal Bakaiya River to remain alert till tonight as the flood is increasing in Jureli Bazaar and Makwanpur districts. <\/p>\n
