Kathmandu. A total of 3,951 natural disasters have occurred in various parts of the country from April 14 to July 28. <\/p>\n
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, 193 people died, three went missing, 1,165 were injured and 5,087 families were affected. <\/p>\n
The highest 1,002 incidents of fire, 670 incidents of snakebite, 662 incidents of landslide, 479 incidents of landslide, 231 incidents of lightning, 226 incidents of heavy rainfall, 218 incidents of wildlife attack, 198 incidents of flood and 191 incidents of forest fire were recorded in the period. <\/p>\n
Likewise, 34 natural disasters occurred in different parts of the country from 10:00 am on July 29 to 10:00 am on July 29. In the incident, 13 people were injured and 23 have been rescued. Damage worth Rs 41.08 million has been incurred in the incident. <\/p>\n
Eight incidents of snakebite, eight incidents of fire, nine incidents of heavy rainfall, five incidents of landslide, one incident of flood and three incidents of wildlife attack were reported during the period. <\/p>\n
Similarly, from 8:45 am on July 29 to 8:45 am on July 29, 266 out of 448 rain measurement stations in different parts of the country recorded rainfall while the highest rainfall of 104.6 mm was recorded at Dodhara of Kanchanpur. <\/p>\n
