Kathmandu. Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Thapa has questioned the absence of the government and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in the all-party meeting. <\/p>\n
In an all-party meeting called by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane, Thapa questioned the absence of the Prime Minister and the government. <\/p>\n
He also thanked Rastriya Samajwadi Party President Rabi Lamichhane for taking collective initiative to resolve the problem by calling an all-party meeting regarding Sunsari incident. <\/p>\n
“What is the government doing now, where is the government? The government is limited to status. The government should trust others. \u2019<\/p>\n
“At this time, the Prime Minister should immediately convene an all-party meeting, meet the President and make joint efforts by coordinating with the state and local governments,” he said. \u2019<\/p>\n
He said it was the result of the failure of the state. He said the NC would carry out internal investigation into the Sunsari incident but would not put the government in trouble. “Even in such a situation, the Prime Minister will live on the price and live as a thief,” Thapa said, adding that the Prime Minister has been asked to convey the message through the party president that he should work in a positive way at such a time. <\/p>\n
He said that the people’s representatives and leaders of the Nepali Congress have also been asked to hold a meeting to resolve the problem. He said that the NC has been urged to play the role of preventing such incidents in the affected districts including Sunsari. <\/p>\n
Prime Minister Balendra Shah and Home Minister Sudan Gurung were not present in the meeting. Similarly, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Labour and Culture Party Chairman Harka Sampang did not attend the meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
