Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah is holding discussions with representatives of major export-oriented industries here today. <\/p>\n
The discussion will take place at 11:30 am at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. <\/p>\n
President of Nepal Plywood Manufacturers Association Hom Prasad Ghimire, President of Nepal Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association Balaram Gurung, President of Nepal Pashmina Industry Association Dhan Prasad Lamichhane, Carpet and Plywood Exporter Debananda Sarawagi and President of Nepal Dog Chew Manufacturers Association Resham Bahadur Pokharel were invited to the meeting. <\/p>\n
According to the Secretariat, suggestions would be taken from the industrialists and entrepreneurs on the challenges of export promotion, policy-level reforms and measures to resolve the same. <\/p>\n
Lately, the Prime Minister has been continuously holding dialogues with industrialists and stakeholders of private sector regarding making the country’s economy dynamic, increasing investment and production, and exporting more. <\/p>\n
Prime Minister Balen had held discussions with tea industrialists on Monday itself. <\/p>\n
He also met with representatives of Handicraft Association, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Contractors’ Association, Footwear Association, Share Investors and Readymade Garment Industry Association. <\/p>\n
