The Patan High Court had settled 11,468 cases in the last fiscal year (2082 and 2008). Of the total 16,139 cases registered at the court, 11,468 cases were settled. <\/p>\n<p>The court has been able to reduce the number of cases that have crossed two years and 18 months to zero. Similarly, 353 are above one year. Chief Justice Lal Bahadur Kunwar said the judiciary has been successful in reducing the cases below 18 years to zero as per the five-year strategic plan. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have given special priority to the issues related to development, construction and revenue collection,&#8221; he said. The Patan High Court has disposed of 740 cases in the current fiscal year and 12 cases of detention that have crossed a year are pending.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
