Kathmandu. The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has started all the work related to the license from today. <\/p>\n
According to the department, all the work related to license application, renewal and revenue payment can be done online. <\/p>\n
Now, while making the license, the service recipient will have to be present at the concerned transport office only for health check-up. <\/p>\n
The Department has developed separate web portals for all seven provinces in order to streamline and ease the online services related to licensing. The service recipients can now go to the website according to their state and avail the service online. <\/p>\n
It is expected that the services of the transport sector will be easy, fast, transparent and hassle-free as all the licenses will be available online. <\/p>\n
According to Department Director Keshav Khatiwada, the service seekers can scan the QR code of the national identity card or citizen app and fill in their personal details in the application form. <\/p>\n
In the initial phase, the service recipient should be present at the concerned office only for health check-up. <\/p>\n
Director Khatiwada said that in the case of the service recipients who are not associated with the Nagarik App, the provision of filling in personal details as per the previous procedure has been made as it is. <\/p>\n
According to the department, the arrangement of working completely online has freed the service recipients from the compulsion to stand in line at the bank to fill up the form and pay the revenue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
