Kathmandu. The FIFA World Cup 2026 has announced the full schedule for the Round of 32 i.e. the knockout stage. <\/p>\n
For the first time in history, a total of 32 teams, including the top two teams from each group and the eight wild-card teams with the best third-place finish, will compete in the knockout battle for the title. <\/p>\n
A single defeat in this round will end the team’s World Cup journey starting on Sunday (June 28). <\/p>\n
Group A runners-up South Africa and Group B runners-up Canada will face each other in the opening match of the knockout stage. In the second match, Germany will take on wild-card Paraguay, while five-time world champions Brazil will take on Asian powerhouse Japan. The fourth match will be played between the Netherlands and Morocco. <\/p>\n
