Likewise, Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) lawmaker Jagadish Kharel (Lalitpur) demanded change in the standard of the 45-km road from Gwarkhu Lubhu, Lamatar to Panauti, saying the locals were not able to use their property. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, lawmaker Kharel said that although Article 25 of the constitution has guaranteed the right to property, it is a fundamental right, especially the people of Lalitpur-2 have not been able to enjoy it. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;People have been suffering due to the standard adopted on the national highway,&#8221; he said, adding, &#8220;The people who have been living here for hundreds of years have been affected by the 62-meter standard.&#8221; \u2019<\/p>\n<p>He said that it was not necessary to include the 45-kilometer road in the national highway standard, saying the settlements in the area were on the verge of being wiped out due to such standards.
