Kathmandu. Expressing serious concern over the incident of a tempo falling off a cliff in Kailali, Chairman of the Labour Culture Party Harka Sampang Rai demanded action against the guilty and compensation to the victims. <\/p>\n
Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, he said he was saddened by the sight of a poor tempo driver’s vehicle rolling off a cliff in the presence of forest police. <\/p>\n
He drew the attention of the Home Minister to conduct an impartial investigation into the incident, take legal action against the culprits and provide appropriate compensation to the victim driver. <\/p>\n
Sampang said that there was another scene of stones being thrown at the roof of the house during the same time and expressed concern over the behavior of the police in recent times. <\/p>\n
According to him, although citizens should feel safe and secure when they see police, some incidents have created an atmosphere of fear and fear towards the police. <\/p>\n
He said, “A poor unhappy tempo driver was seen rolling the tempo van from the cliff in the presence of the police. We are saddened by that scene. I would like to draw the attention of the Home Minister to this. <\/p>\n
Action should be taken against the guilty and compensation should be arranged. He was also seen throwing stones at the roof of the house. It’s amazing to see the police being so rude these days. There should be a sense of peace and security when you see the police. The atmosphere of fear and panic when the police are seen should be corrected immediately. \u2019<\/p>\n
