Kathmandu. Minister for Youth, Labour and Employment Ramji Yadav has said that preparations were underway to bring policy-level reforms and amend the laws to resolve the problems seen in the foreign employment sector. <\/p>\n
Addressing National Youth Entrepreneurship Conference 2083 BS in the capital on Sunday, Minister Yadav argued that most of the works of the Ministry were centered on resolving problems related to foreign employment. <\/p>\n
According to him, it is necessary to first systematize the sector as most of the complaints, complaints and problems coming to the Ministry are related to foreign employment. <\/p>\n
“When I went to the ministry, 80 percent of the work was related to foreign employment. “We are working to solve the problems, pains and irregularities of foreign employment throughout the day,” he said, “Therefore, we have decided to improve the system by amending the Foreign Employment Act and expand the domestic employment.” \u2019<\/p>\n
Minister Yadav said that although unemployment is the main challenge of the country, youths are the biggest possibilities. According to him, youths are lagging behind due to lack of opportunities, investment, market and self-confidence. <\/p>\n
“We all say that youth unemployment is our biggest problem, but the biggest potential of Nepal is also the youth,” he said. But due to opportunities, investment, market and sometimes lack of confidence, we are lagging behind. \u2019<\/p>\n
He also thanked the entrepreneurs for being in the forefront of nation building. Stating that the government alone could not create employment, he said the private sector and entrepreneurs were the main bases for the same. <\/p>\n
“I would like to thank all the entrepreneurs who are working through the problems because you are not only running your own business, but also creating jobs for others. You have been in the forefront of nation building,” he said. <\/p>\n
Stating that the government alone could not create employment, he said the private sector was the major force for job creation. <\/p>\n
“The government alone cannot create jobs, the private sector is the main force,” he said, adding, “It is necessary to make youths identify opportunities, not job seekers.” \u2019<\/p>\n
