The absconding defendant in the banking fraud case has been arrested. <\/p>\n<p>Police on Thursday arrested Prashant Ram Nakarmi, 52, of Indrawati Rural Municipality-4 in Sindhupalchowk district on the charge of banking offense. <\/p>\n<p>A police team deputed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku arrested him from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-12, Teku after slapping a fine of Rs 700,000 and a five-day jail term in the case following the verdict of Kathmandu District Court on November 23, 2002. <\/p>\n<p>He has been produced before the Kathmandu District Court for the execution of the verdict.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
