Kathmandu. Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun has said that the government has decided to prepare a bill to bring the Science, Technology and Innovation Act. <\/p>\n
Informing through the social media Facebook on Thursday, Minister Khatiwada said that priority has been given to the creation of basic infrastructure and legal order as the Ministry has to start operating from a zero position. <\/p>\n
“The steps taken on the first day \u2014 at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation \u2014 everything is starting from scratch. Unlike other ministries, not everything is ready to run this ministry. First of all, it was decided to formulate a bill to bring the Science, Technology and Innovation Act. \u2019<\/p>\n
He also said that the meeting decided to immediately start intensive discussions on how to make research and innovation being carried out by different ministries more effective. <\/p>\n
“It was decided to immediately start intensive discussions on how to take forward the research and innovation being carried out by different ministries in an effective manner,” he said. <\/p>\n
He said that a detailed study and survey would be carried out to determine the number of employees, positions and working procedures required for the effective operation of the Ministry. <\/p>\n
“It was decided to conduct zero and M survey on how many employees should be hired to run the ministries smoothly, how many posts are required and how to make the work quick and effective,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
