Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Former Home Minister and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSS) lawmaker Sudhan Gurung has revealed that he resigned from his ministerial post to facilitate a probe into the inquiry into his assets. <\/p>\n
Addressing the first district convention of the RSP Gorkha here today, lawmaker Gurung said that he was fully responsible for answering the questions raised while holding the public office. <\/p>\n
Addressing the session, he said, “I have given my statement to the probe committee that I should face the questions raised after working in public office.” Some of the questions were very strong during the statement, to which I have answered them easily and clearly. \u2019<\/p>\n
He said that the report of the probe committee has already reached the Prime Minister’s Office and he was hopeful that he would get a complete clean chit. <\/p>\n
Hinting at the possibility that he would be proved innocent and the government would again hand over the responsibility of the Home Ministry, Gurung made a different request. <\/p>\n
