In the first semi-final match played today, Nepal defeated Oman by 8 wickets to reach the final. In the match held at the National Cricket Ground in Singapore, Nepal attained the 95-run target posted by Oman in 9.2 overs at the loss of two wickets. <\/p>\n
Lokesh Bam scored an unbeaten 44 runs while captain Rohit Poudel made 21 runs. Similarly, Kushal Bhurtel scored 20 runs. Sameer Oatman took both wickets for Nepal. Oman, who elected to bat first after winning the toss, was limited to 94 runs in 19.4 overs at the loss of all wickets. Oman captain Safyan Mahmood top-scored with 38 runs, Zubair Al Balushi 22 runs and Abdul Zayl 16. <\/p>\n
Karan KC took three wickets for Nepal. Sandeep Lamichhane and Sompal Kami took two wickets each while Shahab Alam, Kushal Malla and Dipendra Singh Airee took one wicket each. With this victory, Nepal has moved closer to the title.
