In the past 24 hours, 2,300 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. This amounts to Rs 2 million 84 thousand in revenue deposited in the state exchequer. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 104 people were taken for drunken driving, 177 for ride-sharing violation, 147 for breaching signal lights and 105 for speeding. <\/p>\n<p>Similarly, 56 for flouting lane discipline, 152 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 113 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 141 for one-way driving and 1,305 for violating other traffic rules were taken in the district.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
