Kathmandu. Khagendra Sunar, a lawmaker from Rastriya Swatantra Party, drew the attention of the government towards the difficulties faced by parliamentary journalists to report. <\/p>\n
Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, he urged the government to at least allow the parliamentary journalists to drink water and go to the bathroom when they are thirsty. <\/p>\n
He said, “I am saddened to see the sorrow and misery outside the gate of the journalist friends who are involved in reporting on parliamentary affairs.” <\/p>\n
I want to draw the attention of the government to at least make arrangements for the parliamentary journalists who are engaged in informing the people day and night to drink water when they are thirsty and go to the washroom when they urinate. \u2019<\/p>\n
He also said that it was a matter of shame in the international community that journalists seen outside the parliament building have to hide their cameras when it rains and hide their heads when it is sunny. <\/p>\n
“It is difficult to protect the camera when it is raining and to hide the head when it is sunny. I would like to draw the attention of the House not to harass journalist friends in a way that embarrasses the international community,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
