CPN-UML lawmaker Suhang Nembang has demanded removal of obstruction in tea export. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking in the zero hour of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, he said, &#8220;The export of tea has come to a standstill. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>Stating that this has affected farmers, workers, industrialists and the country&#8217;s economy, he said, &#8220;Diplomatic initiative should be taken with the Indian government.&#8221; The bottleneck in tea export should be resolved. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>There is a 163-year-long history of tea production in Nepal and more than 15,000 farmers and 60,000 labourers are currently involved in it, he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
