Kathmandu. Today is the last day to apply for the initial public offering (IPO) of Taksar Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower Limited. The company has opened the IPO for the IPO from May 23 till the banking deadline today. <\/p>\n
In the first phase, the company has issued IPO to the locals of the project-affected areas and the Nepalese employed abroad and in the second phase, it will be open to the general public. <\/p>\n
The company is issuing 2,515,455 units of ordinary shares to the general public. The company was allowed to issue 4,230,668 units of ordinary shares worth Rs 4,30,66,800 i.e. 35.26 per cent of its issued capital of Rs 1.20 arba to the general public. <\/p>\n
Out of the total offered shares, 1.2 million units were set aside for the project-affected locals of Bhojpur district while 303,067 units were allotted for the Nepali nationals who are employed abroad. Similarly, 1,51,533 units of shares have been allotted for the mutual fund schemes. <\/p>\n
Applications can be place for minimum 10 units and maximum 5000 units. The interested bidders can bid for the applications from ASBA member banks and their branches approved by the Securities Board of Nepal. Investors can also apply through my shares.
