Kathmandu. Bustle is becoming a new choice for domestic tourists looking to take a break from the noisy urban environment and experience the tranquility and natural beauty. Located at a distance of 163 km from Kathmandu, Bhachek is located at an altitude of 1,750 meters above sea level. The cool climate, lush green hills and mountain ranges make anyone who visits it happy. <\/p>\n

According to the locals, the number of tourists visiting Bhachek has increased in recent period due to the road connectivity. One can easily reach Bhachek from Gorkha district headquarters via Barhakilo via small vehicles. After crossing a distance of about 45 kilometers from Barhakilo, Bhachek is reached. Similarly, there is also an arrangement to reach there via blacktopped road via Palungtar. <\/p>\n

Situated in the high hilly area, one can get a fascinating view of the fields and settlements of Gorkha and Lamjung. When the weather is clear, one can see Ganesh Himal, Annapurna and other mountain ranges from close range. Due to the cold weather and peaceful environment, this area has become a center of attraction for domestic tourists. <\/p>\n

Gurung, Tamang, Brahmin and Chhetri communities live in and around Bhachek Tourists can observe various ethnic cultures, traditions and local lifestyles up close. Homestay facility is also available for tourists in Namki village, which is about 15 minutes away from Bhachek Bazaar. <\/p>\n

In Namki village, which is dominated by the Tamang community, local dishes, cultural dances and entertainment programs are organized for the guests. A homestay facility has been set up in Ajirkot Rural Municipality in collaboration with the Gandaki State government and locals. Currently, 10 households have the capacity to accommodate 20 to 40 guests. This area is considered more attractive from tourism point of view as one can trek to the historic Chepe River, Dudhpokhari, Nage Pokhari and Nicche Pokhari which carry religious and tourist importance from Bhachek area. <\/p>\n
