Kathmandu.\u00a0 The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index posted a double-digit fall on Thursday. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 6.94 points to close at 2,718 points. <\/p>\n
In the last few days, the volatility of the market has decreased. Although NEPSE index saw a slight improvement, the turnover volume declined. <\/p>\n
According to NEPSE, 6,684,07 units of shares of 334 companies were traded for a total of 45,065 times today, amounting to Rs 2.93 billion. <\/p>\n
Banking 0.33 per cent, development bank 0.29 per cent, hotel and tourism 0.20 per cent, life insurance 0.30 per cent, microfinance 0.35 per cent, trade 1.57 per cent and other groups 0.83 per cent increased today. The sub-index of all other groups has decreased. <\/p>\n
Shares of finance sector saw a share decline by 0.08 per cent, investment by 0.07 per cent, production and processing by 0.08 per cent, mutual funds by 0.16 per cent and non-life insurance by 0.56 per cent. <\/p>\n
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) made the highest turnover of Rs 17,68,33,369 today. According to NEPSE, the highest number of 526,682 units of shares were traded on the basis of traded shares.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
