Kathmandu. Yambaling Hydropower Limited (YHPCL) has opened its initial public offering (IPO) from April 16. The company has started issuing the shares to the general public after allotting the shares to the project-affected locals, Nepalis in foreign employment, employees and mutual funds. <\/p>\n
The company has been granted permission to issue 28 lakh units of shares and now 17,43,000 units are open to the general public. Applications can be place for minimum 10 units and maximum 21,000 units. <\/p>\n
The application period for this IPO will be till May 5 (early) and May 30 (late). Care Ratings Nepal has assigned ‘CareNP Double B Minus’ rating to the company, indicating moderate risk. <\/p>\n
The total cost of the 7.27 MW Yambaling Khola hydropower project is around Rs 1.87 billion. Muktinath Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
