The stock market rose on the first trading day of the week. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 7.73 points to close at 2,796.43 points today. <\/p>\n<p>The indices of all the groups except hydropower, investment, mutual funds, others and trade increased while the indices of the production and processing group increased by one and a half percent. Shares of 158 companies rose today and 101 declined. Similarly, shares of 10 companies remained unchanged. <\/p>\n<p>Shares of Corporate Development Bank, Palpa Cement, Shikhar Power and City Hotel rose by 15 percent today. Overall, shares of Nifra Green Energy Debentures 2088\u00f789 fell the most on the day of the market. <\/p>\n<p>Although the NEPSE index increased today, the transaction amount decreased. A total of 10.9 million units of shares of 351 companies were traded for Rs 4.74 billion on Friday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
