Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has forwarded the process for selection of private and electronic service providers in order to make the collection of electricity bill easy and effective. For this, the Authority has called for proposals from interested organizations. <\/p>\n
According to the authority, the organizations operating or getting the payment service done through electronic means can submit a proposal with necessary documents. <\/p>\n
The service provider will have to hire at least five skilled technical manpower and also mention the details of its work area, service network, technology, software and equipment to be used. <\/p>\n
NEA has stressed on ensuring that the service reaches the customers of remote areas through electronic means. As per the provision, the contractor has to be present within 15 days of the approval and must keep a bank guarantee of Rs 10 million with a validity of at least one year. <\/p>\n
This is expected to provide easy, secure and prompt payment services to consumers across the country through digital mediums.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
