Kathmandu. A meeting of the House of Representatives Operation Regulations Drafting Committee is underway at Singha Durbar today. The committee is working on drafting new rules of the House of Representatives. <\/p>\n
The meeting of the 15-member committee formed under the chairmanship of Ganesh Parajuli is discussing the amendments and new provisions required for the operation of the parliament. <\/p>\n
The members of the committee are in the process of bringing amendment proposals in various chapters and sections of the Regulations and are in the process of deliberations. The meeting has laid emphasis on making the regulations timely and making the parliamentary process more effective and transparent. <\/p>\n
After the formation of this committee, the process of drafting the regulations has moved ahead expeditiously. According to the outcome of the meeting, the new regulations are expected to be tabled in the House of Representatives.
