Kathmandu. The Election Commission (EC) has distributed seats after completing the counting of votes under the proportional representation system. <\/p>\n
According to the EC, 6 parties that have crossed 3 percent have got the number of seats. <\/p>\n
According to the Election Commission, Rastriya Swatantra Party has secured 57 seats, Nepali Congress 20, CPN-UML 16, NCP 9, Labour Culture 4 and RPP 4. <\/p>\n
According to the EC, out of a total of 1,89,03,689 voters, 1,11,68,032 had cast their votes under the first-past-the-post category. Of them, 1,55,59,017 votes or 94.55 per cent were approved. <\/p>\n
Similarly, 1,12,80,617 votes were cast under the proportional representation category, out of which 1,08,35,025 votes or 96.05 per cent votes were validated. <\/p>\n
