Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has been elected from Chitwan constituency-2 with a huge margin. <\/p>\n<p>Lamichhane won the election defeating Nepali Congress candidate Meena Kumari Kharel by a margin of 39,838 votes. <\/p>\n<p>Lamichhane got 54,402 votes. He had secured 54,276 votes in the previous election. <\/p>\n<p>His nearest rival was NC&#8217;s Meena Kumari Kharel who got 14,564 votes, according to Chitwan&#8217;s Chief Election Officer Kedar Prasad Poudel. <\/p>\n<p>CPN-UML&#8217;s Ashmin Ghimire came third with 6,992 votes.
