Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Sasmit Pokharel has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu constituency-5. According to the final results of the election to the House of Representatives, he has been elected with 30,737 votes. <\/p>\n
Newly-elected lawmaker Pokharel received 9,159 votes from Nepali Congress (NC). CPN-UML’s Ishwor Pokharel has secured 4,701 votes in the election, according to the Office of the Election Officer. <\/p>\n
Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Kamal Thapa got 1,729 votes, Ujjyalo Nepal Party’s Shree Ram Gurung got 1,100 votes and Labor Culture Party’s Amit Thapa got 711 votes.
