KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the Save the Nation, Nationality, Religion and Culture, Citizen Save Mega Campaign, has been released from jail. <\/p>\n<p>A division bench of Justices Manoj Kumar Sharma and Megh Raj Pokharel issued the order on Tuesday. Uma Prasain had filed a habeas corpus application at the Supreme Court last week, claiming that he was illegally detained in the custody of the District Police Range. <\/p>\n<p>The Election Commission had written to the police to take action against Prasai for his involvement in election fraying. Accordingly, police arrested Prasain from Kathmandu on February 14. <\/p>\n<p>Although an order was issued to release him on Tuesday, he was released only today after the necessary process could not be completed during office hours.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
