Addressing the religious rituals, Chairman Oli claimed that Nepal is a country with a glorious history dating back to five thousand years and its tradition of knowledge and science is leading in the world.TAG_OPEN_p_7 He said the Vedic mantra ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’ was introduced as the base for prosperity in the modern age. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Oli also explained the difference between ‘Hindu Rashtra’ and ‘Sanatan Dharma’ and described Sanatan Tradition as the main civilization and identity of Nepal.TAG_OPEN_p_6 Stating that the term ‘Hindu state’ had come into use only in the last few centuries, he said the Sanatan tradition was the common property of Nepalis following all religions. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
He claimed that the origin of medical science or surgery was from the land of Nepal and discussed the contribution of Rishi Vishwamitra and Sushruta.TAG_OPEN_p_5 Referring to Nepal as ‘Devbhoomi’, ‘Tapobhumi’ and ‘land of knowledge’, he said the determination was to revive the national pride which is being lost. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
