Kathmandu. Dan Bahadur Karki has filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court claiming that he has been illegally removed from the post of Inspector General of Police. <\/p>\n
He had filed a petition in the Supreme Court through lawyers yesterday (Thursday). The petition was filed on Friday, according to the Supreme Court administration. <\/p>\n
On Thursday, it was said that the application could not be registered on Thursday as it was under study. <\/p>\n
It is customary to assign a hearing for hearing the next day after the petition is filed. <\/p>\n
The government has removed the outgoing IGP Karki and given him the responsibility of security advisor to the Prime Minister. Karki has not received the letter of the decision of the cabinet. <\/p>\n
