KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that the government is preparing to hand over the services of land administration to the local level within a month. <\/p>\n
Writing in the social media today, he said that the process of handing over land administration services to the local level has been forwarded and 33 local levels are operating successfully. <\/p>\n
“The process of handing over the services of land administration to the local levels has been initiated as per the provisions made by the Local Government Operation Act, 2074 and the Ordinance to Amend some Nepal Acts related to Land, 2083,” he said, adding, “So far, the services are being successfully operated from 33 different local levels.” Giving further impetus to this process, it has been decided to make arrangements for the operation of land administration services compulsorily from all the remaining local levels within the next one month. \u2019<\/p>\n
He said the government would provide all necessary support to the local levels. <\/p>\n
He said, “The main essence of the federal democratic republic is to reduce the distance between the state and the citizens. Its ultimate goal is not to easily reach the remote offices to get the services of the state, but to reach the necessary offices and their services to the citizens. \u2019<\/p>\n
He said the government was working to provide land administration services from the local level as an integral part of its one hundred agendas related to governance reforms. <\/p>\n
He said that with this initiative of the government, the local level would be able to fully exercise their constitutional and legal rights related to land administration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
