The government has now made a provision that a copy of citizenship can be obtained from any district. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a circular to all district administration offices directing them to implement the new system. According to the new system, if the citizenship is lost, torn, destroyed due to fire or water, and if required in the new format, the copy can be taken. <\/p>\n<p>In order to manage the flow of service seekers, the district administration offices of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur have made arrangements to provide service according to the province. <\/p>\n<p>However, the administration has said that the biological details in the National Identity Management and Centralized Citizenship Information System should be matched to issue a copy of the citizenship.
