Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) expresses deep sorrow over the unimaginable loss of life and property caused by floods, landslides and inundation in different parts of the country due to incessant rains. <\/p>\n
We express our heartfelt condolences to all the sisters and brothers who lost their lives in this natural calamity. We also wish for the speedy recovery of the injured. <\/p>\n
We express our gratitude to the Government of Nepal for the preparedness of the disaster risk reduction and the rescue work being carried out round the clock by the concerned agencies including the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force. It is very painful to see the loss of precious lives due to the nature of the disaster despite the best efforts of the state. <\/p>\n
The risk of adverse weather and disaster is not yet completely over. Therefore, we heartily appeal to all the general public living on the banks of the river and in the places prone to landslides and traveling except for essential work to adopt high alertness and special precautions. <\/p>\n
We urge the Government of Nepal to further accelerate the ongoing efforts being made by the government in this difficult situation and to further accelerate the relief distribution in the affected areas, search for the disappeared people and treatment of the injured in the affected areas. <\/p>\n
We also draw the attention of all three tiers of government to immediately resume the obstructed highways in the aftermath of the disaster and not to delay in the safe housing and rehabilitation of the homeless citizens. <\/p>\n
We appeal to all the leaders, members, well-wishers, rapid action team and the general public to selflessly dedicate themselves to the service of the general public in the affected areas in coordination with the concerned bodies at this sensitive time of this disaster.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
