Kathmandu. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has officially announced the production of the Nepali film ’26 Crore’. <\/p>\n
The announcement of the film was made during a ceremony held at ‘Taj Lands’ End in Mumbai, India on Tuesday evening. On the occasion of Oberoi’s birthday, the film was announced during the ‘Rose Day’ celebration organized by the Cancer Patients Aid Association to help cancer patients. <\/p>\n
Sahara R Shah has been roped in as the lead actress of the film. A formal agreement was signed between producer Subash Bhusal and newcomer Shah at the event. Shah learnt acting at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares Acting Academy. Actor Oberoi said that Shah’s debut in the film was the biggest birthday gift for him. <\/p>\n
Actor Oberoi has been the guardian of Shah for a long time. Shah was battling cancer since the age of 3. Actor Oberoi has been providing healthcare, education and mentorship to Shah through the Cancer Patients Aid Association (RIABB). <\/p>\n
Actor Oberoi was very emotional while addressing the film’s announcement ceremony. He said, “I saw Sahara as a small child fighting cancer. Today, as she is conquering cancer and signing a deal as the lead heroine of the film, I am emotional beyond words. \u2019<\/p>\n
The film will be written and directed by Bikash Subedi. Director Subedi said that Shah was selected for the film through audition. He said that Shah was selected because he needed a heroine with a Hindi accent according to the story. <\/p>\n
