Kathmandu. Nepal has entered the final of the third edition of the ACC Premier Cup. Nepal defeated Oman by 87 runs in the semi-finals to reach the final. Chasing the target of 148 runs, Oman was all out for 60 runs in 28 overs. <\/p>\n
For Oman, Jatinder Singh scored 25 off 41 balls and Jiten Ramanandi scored 13 off 42 balls. Nepal’s captain Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee took 3 wickets each, while Lalit Rajbanshi and Rohit Kumar Paudel took 2 wickets each. <\/p>\n
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal scored 147 runs in 45.4 overs losing all wickets. <\/p>\n
For Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airee scored 51 runs in 76 balls and Bashir Ahmed scored 47 runs in 88 balls. For Oman, Jai Biram Odedara and Hasnain Shah took 3 wickets each, Mohammad Imran took 2 wickets and Shakeel Ahmed and Mujibur Ali took 1 wicket each. <\/p>\n
In another semi-final match played today, UAE defeated Hong Kong by 7 wickets to set up a meeting with Nepal in the final. <\/p>\n
