KATHMANDU: The stock market, which had risen for four consecutive trading days, fell by double digits today. The NEPSE index fell by 15.43 points to close at 2,545.40 points today. <\/p>\n
Today, the sub-indices of all the sub-indices of development banks and finance groups decreased by more than 2 percent. <\/p>\n
Shares of 192 companies decreased today and 74 increased. Similarly, shares of 11 companies did not fluctuate. <\/p>\n
Shares of Emerging Nepal, Sindhu Bikas Bank and Janaki Finance fell by 15 percent today. Overall, shares of Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower rose by 15 percent on the day of the decline. <\/p>\n
Although the NEPSE index decreased today, the transaction amount has increased. Today, 10.9 million shares of 352 companies were traded for Rs 4.19 billion, compared to Rs 3.83 billion yesterday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
